Wag of the finger: Ipsos i-Say

Dear Ipsos i-Say,

I just wanted to show you how long your last email was.

In addition to being way too long for me - or anybody else - to actually read it, there are a few other problems I would like to point out.

- don't call me "Dear i-Say Member." That's not my name.

- you seem to be confused about who you are. The email says it's from "Ipsos i-Say" but it's signed by Emily Martin.

- I know Emily Martin is about as real as Betty Crocker; the scan of the fake signature at the bottom isn't necessary - get rid of it.

- don't send me an email full of fine print. Give me the headlines and a link to the details.

- if you're emailing something important like login credentials ... and you actually expect me to see them, don't bury them in the middle of all that fine print.

I would like to confirm that Emily Martin is very real. In fact, she works just down the hallway, right next to the Easter Bunny's cubical. She's good friends with our head accountant, the Tooth Fairy, who can confirm all of the above.

I JOINED THE IPSOS ISAY THING WHERE THEY PROMISED TO ENTER MY NAME IN A DRAW FOR SOME MONEY AND GIVE ME POINTS FOR COMPLETING A SURVEY. WHAT THEY DID WAS ASK A WHOLE LOT OF PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT ME WHERE I BANK MY INCOME ETC AND THEN TWO SURVEY QUESTIONS WHICH ENDED WHEN I DIDN'T HAVE A CELL PHONE. THEY SENT ME ANOTHER SURVEY WHICH WAS SIMILAR AND ASKED SOME MORE PERSONAL QUESTIONS WITH TWO MORE ACTUAL SURVEY QUESTIONS. I WENT TO THE PAGE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO SHOW MY POINTS ETC AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE COMPLETELY BLANK. THEY KEEP SENDING ME EMAILS AND I MARK THEM PHISHING SCAM AND NOW EACH TIME I DO MY COMPUTER GETS FROZEN AND I HAVE TO REBOOT. THIS IS THE ONLY TIME THAT MY COMPUTER FREEZES UP WHEN I MARK THEM AS PHISHING SCAM. I FEEL FROM THE PERSONAL INFO I HAVE GIVEN THEM THEY HAVE MANAGED TO HACK INTO MY COMPUTER AND MESS THINGS UP. I DON'T THINK THEY HAVE ANY MORALS AND I DON'T THINK THEY ARE AT ALL ACCURATE, MOST LIKELY RETURNING RESULTS TO THE CUSTOMER THAT ARE TAILORED TO GENERATE MORE INCOME. I THINK THEY ARE CROOKED AS HELL.

i've been using isay for a little over a year and its very real. ive collected close to 100$ in gift certificates from it and as far as the personal info is concerned you can refuse to answer. ipsos reid is a well known data collection agency, they wouldnt risk their business with a scam. it wouldnt be worthwhile.
